Things had to get bad before they got good, but the payoff was more than worth the wait. Mark Pope cooked up a second-half masterclass as the Wildcats executed to perfection down the stretch and give the program its second statement victory of the season — the first time a UK head coach has won his first two top-10 matchups since Adolph Rupp.
