Surprising Tayshaun Prince news
In this article about the 2008 Olympic team, we find out that our own Tayshaun Prince declined an invitation to try out for the 2008 Olympic team in Beijing. I must admit that I was a bit surprised with this news as I thought Tay would be the kind of guy who would jump at this opportunity. I can say without equivocation that if it were me (which it will never be unless sarcasm, poker or blogging becomes an Olympic sport), I would want to go to the Olympics. But if Tay doesnt, he doesnt.
Many have called athletes who were against such trips, selfish. Interesting to see if Kentucky fans have that reaction to this news.
