Never in the history of the Kentucky Sports Radio blog has a recruitment been covered with this much tenacity. Some would argue that it is because this blog was not in existence at the time of the last recruiting season, but I would argue it is because of the uniqueness of Dan Werner. In all seriousness, if Dan comes to Kentucky he will be a fan favorite and a 4 year contributor with Scott Padgett/Chuck Hayes type potential.
I spoke to his father again today. Dan is off on vacation to think about the process and a decision will be made this weekend. It is down to Florida and Kentucky. Dan's father has always been insistent to mention that he is still currently committed to NC State, but Dan's high school coach confirmed what we here at KSR Radio have held for some time, which is that the Wolfpack are not truly a contender. It will be an SEC battle for Dan's services and all indications from his father suggest that he truly has not made up his mind. Who will win? Well it is time for the Cats to pull one out....but know this....when it happens, you will be the first to know.
