The Cats used all of its resources during this morning’s practice, the first of the Wednesday two-a-day.

The team was indoors at the new practice facility, but it also got some work in inside Commonwealth Stadium for the first time this fall.

“We got to be in the stadium again, which it’s good to be in that environment as much as possible,” said D.J. Eliot, UK’s defensive coordinator.

“We practiced the majority of the practice in the stadium,” he added. “We got some rain, which is good.”

The Cats will be back at it later this afternoon for their fifth practice in three days. Eliot said the coaches have to continue to push players to fight through the grind.

“We’ve still got some thing clean up, but there’s time to do that.”

More from practice to come, so stick around…
