Each week KSR’s Funkhouser collects the best of pop culture. The Entertation Index collects the best of the week for your consumption.

Devil, Tasmanian — A Tasmanian devil named Nick is back in his habitat at the San Diego Zoo after being removed for the installation of a heart pacemaker. It’s the first major surgery the Australian marsupial has received, not counting all the cosmetic reconstructive surgeries Nick has undergone over the years due to Bugs Bunny repeatedly firing point blank into his face with a shotgun.

Fox, Megan — The pregnant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star joined Jimmy Kimmel Live this week and informed the nation that her unborn baby sends her secret messages, that it will be a major figure in engineering or technology and that she believes in leprechauns. Finally, Fox’s marriage to ex-Beverly Hills 90120 star Bryan Austin Green makes sense; he’s clearly tricked her into believing he’s a magical genie.

Francis, Pope — American actors Richard Gere, George Clooney and Salma Hayak were invited to a special event held at the Vatican on Sunday and received special awards from the Roman Catholic Church’s own Pope Francis. While the trio is widely revered for their charity work, oddly enough the award bestowed on them by the pontiff was that of “World’s Greatest Grandpa.”

Glanville, Brandi — Brandi Glanville, who was once a Real Housewife of some city and currently remains someone that I guess some people still care about(?), told E! News that she’s open to dating anyone and that she even dated an Uber driver. “It was great,” she told reporters, “he drove me anywhere I wanted to go and just sat out in the car and waited for me, it was very sweet. Then one day I realized I owed him $11,000. Also, I didn’t know he was an Uber driver.”

Island, The Lonely — With Samberg & Company’s mock-documentary Popstar opening today to mostly great reviews (you can check out the Funkhouser review here), New York Magazine re-ran its Seth Meyers-sponsored bracket of the group’s best digital shorts during their SNL run. While I won’t spoil the winner for you (it surprised me), I did want to link to a few of my personal faves (click to play) — “YOLO,”  “I’m on a Boat,” “I Just Had Sex” and “Space Olympics” — for your viewing pleasure.

Shows, GameDeadline Hollywood is reporting that cable network Spike TV is fast-tracking its first ever game show, which will focus on parents and grown children thrown together in close quarters and forced to learn embarrassing things about one another. The pilot season is tentatively set to air from October 2016 to March 2017 and feature John and Brad Calipari.

Tongue, Cat — A new Kickstarter for a product called the LICKI Brush allows cat owners to simulate the soothing process of licking their cats, which can promote the bonding of cat and owner. Hey, you know what? Look at me. No, look at me. It’s just us. Just you and me, talking. Hey, you wanna lick your cat? Go ahead. Lick your cat. You don’t have to be all like “ha ha, look at this hilarious thing I found on the internet!” That’s just a waste of money. It’s 2016, buddy. You do you, okay? You do you. You take care of that cat, buddy.
