The Moustache Takes Down the Gody and Other Notes

Notes from by far the best first set of games that I can remember: --- Harangody lost to the moustache Blaine Taylor as ODU took down Notre Dame. We here at KSR believe that our roadtrip brought the teams we visited good luck. We saw Old Dominion and now they have won. Harangody was hideous and didnt score until the last 20 seconds of the game, frustrating Johnny "The" Bruce, who had him in his NCAA total points pool. --- The Florida-BYU game has been amazing. Double overtime and shooting that has been out of this world. I am not sure where this Florida team that we watched has been all season, but they are impressive tonight. Even Kenny Boyton has looked strong. --- Dan Werner has not looked strong. Just in case you were wondering. --- When I grow up, I want to be Jimmer Fredette. Kid has cajones of steel and shoots like nobody's business. When BYU plays its next game against Kansas State, make sure you watch just to see him play. He is fun. --- As I write this, Robert Morris is headed into overtime with Villanova in a game that nearly gave us the rare 2-15 upset. It is still possible, but Robert Morris let some chances get away late. Speaking of chances, that last lob by Nova on the final play was dropped by Maurice Sutton. Remember him? He was recruited to UK and very nearly ended up here in the first year of the Gillispie era. --- I cant wait for tonight. How good does it feel to have winnable games for Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament? Its going to be fun.
