The Recruits are Coming.....

I want to thank Rob, Shawn, Intern, Mattox and others for keeping the blog rolling during my time away in the last few days. I hope to be back at full strength by the weekend and the blog rolling at its normal pace by then. Until then, a couple of notes for tonight. (1) After Midnight Madness, there is a great deal of movement on the recruiting front. Garrett Stutz (pictured above) has stated to a couple of different sources that Kentucky is his current leader and that they are the favorite for his services. However I have never gotten the indication that it is certain that an offer exists at this point for Garrett. If a firm offer comes, I think it is very likely that Garrett jumps at it. (2) All indications are that the visit for Chris Singleton went excellent. I spoke to someone close to Singleton who told me, "at this point, I could see him going to either UK, UT or FSU.....but the smart money right now may be on UK. He loved the visit and could not believe how many people made him feel welcome. Plus he loves Patrick Patterson and Alex Legion as well. It could not have gone better." (3) I really hope I am physically able to go to Gameday on Saturday, although it is not yet certain.....it should be an absolutely unbelievable scene. If you havent heard yet, the Mississippi State game on the 27th will be at 12:30 pm.....thus no Saturday allows for the Keeneland-UK double....oh well. And how about the last ten minutes of the UK-LSU game.....
