Slate.com today ranked the richest towns in every state and the winner in Kentucky probably doesn't come as a big surprise.
Anchorage, Kentucky, right outside of Louisville is the richest Kentucky town, with a median income level of $160,000, making it one of the top 15 towns on the list. With only 2500 residents, it isn't hard for the number to skew high, but it still showcases why every house out there is massive and there is a yoga studio and coffee shop on every street corner.
