One elite athlete will be standing in the way, playing on both sides of the line of scrimmage tonight, Jordan Dingle. The highest-ranked uncommitted recruit in the Commonwealth, Rivals ranks Dingle as the No. 3 player in the state of Kentucky and No. 24 tight end in America. A top recruiting priority for Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow, Dingle's relationship with the coaches is the biggest draw to Kentucky. "I really love their coaching staff and how personable they are," he told KSR Friday morning. "I feel like they’ll bend over backwards for their players, so that's one of the main attractors. Being in Kentucky, being in your home state, I feel like that's going to be a big deal and would be a big deal." Dingle is also considering Purdue, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech, among others. If you noticed a theme in those schools, they're all excellent academic institutions. Dingle considers his school work as one of his strengths. For a high school senior, he already has lofty career aspirations. "I feel like that's a big part on deciding a school," he said. "In the future I'm looking a going into healthcare administration and taking my career that way and seeing how that goes." Dingle could team up with his older brother at the next level. Justice Dingle is currently a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman at Georgia Tech. Jordan said he hasn't felt any pressure from his older brother to follow in his footsteps. "Wherever I feel is home and the place that will take care of me the best and be in my best interest -- that's mainly it." You can hear most of Jordan's conversation with KSR below before the Purples kick it off with the Spartans tonight at 7 pm CT.
