Watching the Louisville-Va Tech game this afternoon, I found myself in an interesting position....actually slightly pulling for the Cardinals.  Let me be clear, I never cheer for the Ville.  Like every good Kentucky fan, I consider them our biggest rival and dont enjoy their success.  In addition, I usually pull for Virginia Tech.  I loved Ron Mexico when he played in Blacksburg and I am fascinated by the growth on Frank Beamer's neck.  So normally this would be a no-brainer.

However the display of sportsmanship (or lack thereof) on hand in Jacksonville was awful.  One Hokie player was ejected and the younger Vick showed his immaturity by trying to end the career of Elvis Dumervill.  In the end, Va Tech's talent was too much to overcome, but their pathetic display during the game did something to me that is almost unthinkable.....it made me a Louisville fan.
