Now I have occasionally been accused of being pessimistic when it comes to Kentucky football.....and that is probably true.  But can you blame me at times?  On the same day that Rich Brooks announces that 8-10 new players will get significant time this season (a staggering number if you ask me), we also find out that two players are suspended.

One is not suprising, nor is it Earth shattering.  KSR Radio's favorite wide reciever, Ravi Moss has been suspended six games by the NCAA for taking part in two "Please pay me lots of money before I have to enter the real world" barnstorming games across the Commonwealth.  In many ways, Ravi is lucky to be able to play at all, as it is technically a violation that could end his amateur status.  But we all know the NCAA is full of softies, which means that Ravi Moss will be eligible for the heart of Kentucky's SEC schedule and will likely see his one game of glory against Louisiana-Monroe in November.

In other, more important, news, Bo "my middle name is not Zack" Smith was suspended for good from the team for undisclosed violations.  Smith was a safety for the Cats and his loss will hurt.  There is no word as to what the actual violation was, (I hear point shaving is not it), but it will hurt the Cats to lose his senior leadership.  See, and some of you allege that we have no football coverage.
