UK Defeats Florida 74-66 on Senior Day

Take a walk down memory lane with me. Remember a few years back when you had to constantly deal with Florida fans gloating about their coach that wouldn't come to UK and their powerhouse basketball team that couldn't help but win the NCAA tournament every year? Remember when you tried to convince said fan that these fads happen and that UK would ride that wave and come back later? UK puts a cap on their ownage of Florida this season, possibly knocking them to their third straight NIT appearance, by stretching lead of 18 and holding off a desperate squad on their home court on Senior Day, 74-66. Isn't revenge so sweet? Great season for the Cats as they stretch their victories to 29 and say farewell to Ramon Harris, Perry Stevenson, Mark Krebs and possibly Patrick Patterson in the best way possible. Congrats to the seniors and the UK on a great regular season.
