UK Fans of the Day Want a Couple of Notes

by:Matt Jones02/11/10
snowmageddon With "Snowmageddon" hitting the DC area in record amounts over the last few days, some UK fans do what we all do and still celebrate the John Wall dance. Crazy amounts of snow there in the background and one has to wonder if Rick Pitino will blame the media for bringing up the Nets rumors on the day that DC's federal government was closed. How insensitive. A couple of notes: --- If you havent heard yet, former UK Commitment KC Ross-Miller committed to LSU after attending the UK-LSU game on Saturday. Miller was a former Billy Clyde commitment and has seen his high school career progress nicely. He and his father are good people and were always friendly to the site. Plus, he inspired the great suggestion for Beisner's kid's name "KC Ross-Beisner", which is still great. We wish him a lot of success. --- If you are still interested in the whole Pitino-Nets ordeal and wonder if Ricky is telling the truth, read the twitter feed of Adrian Wojnarowski today, as he absolutely torches Pitino's claims. Adrian is a long-time NBA beat guy and is as fair-minded as they come (he has blasted Cal and this site actually in the past). He showcases how ridiculous Pitino's denials have been. --- Today at 5 pm, the McDonalds All-American team announcement is coming on ESPNU. CJ Leslie is apparently one of the players invited and I would assume that Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones will be as well. We will have the entire list later tonight. --- Quick shoutout to John Pelphrey, whose Arkansas team is now 6-3 in conference and in control of first place in the SEC West. Good for John, who needed that type of run to have some job security. He has really improved the team during the year. --- Finally, I will be filling as host ofvthe EZ Show today from 4-6 pm here in Louisville on 1450 AM. You can stream the show on the internet at 1450theticket.com and if you are around the office, school or home and want to listen, click the link above. We will most certainly talk a lot of UK and I expect the Card fans to come at me on Pitino, so listen up. More later
