Radio Ron posed with two UK fans during a game-watch party in Louisville for the Governor's Cup. Ron and his arm candy are today's UK Fans of the Day and they want some notes and a podcast. --- It's a new week for Kentucky football and the Louisville game is no more. Joker Phillips met with the media after this morning's practice to discuss what he saw on the tape from that game and what needs to change in Saturday's game against Kent State in Commonwealth. One of things he emphasized was UK's defensive line didn't look all that bad after reviewing film, and most of the blame from the front seven should be on the linebackers. They will have to play better. Look for more playing time from the young guys if the veterans don't perform. --- The biggest news out of practice today is Aaron Boyd's emergence as a starter at wide receiver. Fans have wanted to see Boyd live up to the hype since he signed with UK as a four-star prospect in 2008, and now he has a chance to show them he can be a reliable wide receiver. Boyd has really buckled down and gone to work so far in his senior year. Joker said, "He shut his mouth and started to play." --- Scroll down for more from UK's practice from Rashawn. --- In basketball news, Karl Towns finally has an offer from UK but the Cats might not be the favorite like many assume. According to InsideTheGator.com, Karl Towns Sr. believes Florida is his son's "dream school." That's not what we want to hear after he spent the summer with Coach Cal on the Dominican Republic national team. --- Hahaha... Thomas Robinson said he's going to win NBA Rookie of the Year. Hahahahaha. Oh man, that's good. (Link includes quotes from Terrence Jones) --- Matt and Ryan were back on the air this morning after the three-day weekend to discuss Kentucky's loss in the season opener and what it means for Joker's future at Kentucky. Have a listen in today's podcast...
