UK Football on the verge of three more committments

It's early, but Phillips' 2013 recruiting class is shaping up nicely. Eleven players have already committed to the Cats and it looks like three more may do the same by the end of the week. Phillips and his coaching staff have made an effort to not only get some of the best recruits in-state, but are being very aggressive in pursuing out-of-state athletes, specifically in the Florida area. Five of the eleven commits are from Florida, and Phillips could be adding a sixth with three-star (Rivals) safety Austin Logan. Logan is a Tallahassee, Florida native who made an unofficial visit to campus a couple of weeks ago. He also has offers from Purdue, South Florida, and Vanderbilt. In addition to Logan, Kentucky could receive verbals from two Georgia players. Speedy wide receivers Rashard Fant and Deangelo Yancey are rumored to be close to committing to the Cats as well. Both Fant and Yancey have clocked in with sub-4.5 40 times and would be nice additions to Phillips' class. Here's a video of Logan, a hard-hitting DB:
