He became the first male Wildcat to earn the achievement. https://twitter.com/KentuckyTrack/status/1227246734876778503 Jackson posted a time of 20.58 in the 200-meter final last week during a meet in New Mexico, good enough for a Kentucky record and No. 2 in the NCAA. He later posted a time of 6.58 in the 60-meter final which was good enough for second best in UK history and No. 5 in the NCAA. He was also tabbed as the SEC Men's Runner of the Week. A native of Lexington and a Henry Clay High School graduate, Jackson has gone undefeated in five 200-meter races this year while winning nine of his 11 60-meter races. He finished second in the other two races. Jackson was an eight-time state champion during his time at Henry Clay and chose Kentucky over other programs such as Texas, Penn State, and Michigan. This week's honors will be the first of many for the budding track star.
