Kentucky transfer Walker Himebauch commits to Colorado State

The Kentucky football program has had a busy Christmas season in the transfer portal. The addition of WKU starting center Evan Wibberley gave the program 13 scholarship additions, but the program has seen over 20 players leave the program.
A departing transfer found a new college football home on Saturday. Kentucky transfer Walker Himebauch has committed to Colorado State.

Walker Himebauch played in all 13 games for the Wildcats as a true freshman serving as the primary long snapper on punts and field goals. Himebauch saw action in six games a sophomore serving as the primary backup to NC State transfer Alex McLaughlin. Himebauch will have two season of eligibility as he moves closer to home to play for head coach Jay Norvell at Colorado State.
