WATCH: Dr. Mike's Medical Mission Trip to Peru

Those who have followed Kentucky Sports Radio for a while now have likely heard of Dr. Michael Huang before.

Better known as Dr. Mike, he’s been KSR’s top photographer for years now. He’s been with us to shoot basketball and football games primarily and has grown quite the following among the Big Blue Nation. If there’s a big sporting event happening in Lexington, he’s likely there with a camera or two over his shoulder. But what some might not know is that Dr. Mike isn’t just a photographer. His day job is as a physician.

Earlier this month, Dr. Mike went on a medical outreach mission to Cusco, Peru where he and his team saw and treated over 250 patients every day. They traveled to communities in and around the area to provide quality medical care for those in need. While there, Dr. Mike documented as much as he could to bring us an inside look at what he saw throughout his trip.
