WATCH: Highlights, KSR Rapid Reaction, postgame interview from La Familia's TBT loss

Losses don’t get more heartbreaking than what went down Tuesday night in Memorial Coliseum…
La Familia, Kentucky’s alumni team in The Basketball Tournament, was denied in its comeback attempt against Eberlein Drive, losing 71-70 on an Elam Ending three-pointer in the Sweet 16. Anthony Clemmons’ game-winning shot for Eberlein Drive came just after La Familia’s Archie Goodwin went 1-2 at the free throw line where he missed the second attempt, which would have won the game and advanced his team to Monday’s quarterfinals.
But it sure was a fun ride along the way. La Familia trailed for most of the night before rattling off a 16-0 run in the fourth quarter to take a lead going into the Elam Ending. Goodwin, who was the UK alumni’s top player all tournament, finished with 19 points while Kahlil Whitney wasn’t far behind with 18 points of his won. It was good to see those two former ‘Cats in particular have their moments with the Big Blue Nation, but that doesn’t make the loss hurt any less.
