WATCH: Kentucky Fans Take over Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl

Blue Got In, again. Kentucky is playing in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl for the third time in eight years. Even though Mark Stoops is a frequent flyer to Jacksonville, the Big Blue Nation is still showing up in droves.
Ahead of the action on the football field at EverBank Stadium, Kentucky fans gathered at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach for the official pregame pep rally.
Allow me to be candid — I did not expect a great turnout. It’s been spitting rain on and off all day and temperatures have hovered in the 50s. It did not matter. Hundreds of fans made it to the winter wonderland to cheer on the Cats with the Kentucky cheerleaders, dancers and marching band.
Clemson has an avid, loyal fanbase. Tickets were flying off the shelves, but there hasn’t been a whole lot of orange around town. There’s a chance you’ll see more Kentucky blue than Clemson orange when the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl kicks off at noon on ESPN.
