WATCH: Max Hairston Mic'd Up at Kentucky Football Practice

Max Hairston was the breakout player of the year for the Wildcats in 2023. Now the Kentucky cornerback is on everyone’s radar, selected by attendees at SEC Media Days as a First Team All-SEC player. What more is in store for this Cat? Let’s watch him work.
On day two of Kentucky football camp, Hairston was wired for sound at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility. It served as an excellent reminder that he switched his number from No. 31 to No. 1 this offseason.
Rocking a large pink mouthpiece, you’ll see the Kentucky cornerback roll through individual drills. Remember the giant exercise balls you played with as a kid? They’re still using those to prepare players for SEC football action.
In one of the team periods, he lined up against Dane Key a few times. Unfortunately, no fireworks followed. We did see how Hairston interacts with his teammates.
