WATCH: Shannon Spake interviews Rex Chapman
Rex Chapman’s rise to social media stardom has been well documented, most recently by ESPN in an episode of “E:60.” As the pandemic continues, his viral videos of dogs, babies, and people doing stupid things have become a much-needed break from reality.
Earlier this week Shannon Spake caught up with Rex for the latest edition of her “One Up, One Down” series for Fox Sports. The two chatted about a variety of topics, including his fundraising efforts for COVID-19 relief, his career, and his thoughts on “The Last Dance,” ESPN’s 10-part documentary about Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls. Rex shared some memories of playing against Jordan, including their battles while he was with the Miami Heat and Jordan with the Bulls. He even gives kudos to Dean Smith and Roy Williams for helping Jordan develop into the greatest of all time, so if you’re a Carolina hater, you might want to skip that part.
