WATCH: Tyler Herro, PJ Washington, Keldon Johnson, and Reid Travis return to Lexington

On Thursday, Tyler Herro, PJ Washington, Keldon Johnson, and Reid Travis all returned to Lexington to participate in the 2019 John Calipari Draft Academy.

There, the former Kentucky stars helped young campers in various ball-handling and shooting drills, among other activities.

Afterward, all four players spoke to the media about returning to Lexington, their time at Kentucky, and what they’re looking forward to as they begin their professional basketball careers.

Herro talked about being drafted by the Miami Heat, meeting Pat Riley, how excited he is to play with Bam Adebayo, and the recent trade rumors he was involved in.

PJ Washington discussed how excited he is to play with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Malik Monk, whether or not he has met Michael Jordan, and how John Calipari has become a mentor for him as he begins his NBA career:

Keldon Johnson talked about his long wait at the NBA Draft, how thrilled he is about playing for Gregg Popovich in San Antonio, and how happy he is to help out young campers at Calipari’s camp:

Reid Travis discussed his difficult pre-draft process, his move to Germany, and why he doesn’t regret a single thing about his time in Lexington:

During their time with the young campers, Herro and Johnson also participated in a question and answer session, where the former Wildcat duo talked about who they are most excited to face in the NBA, where their passion for basketball started, what teams they cheered for growing up, and why they chose Kentucky out of high school, among other topics:
