Well... That Looked Ugly.

Or at least, it probably did.  Like a lot of you, I opted to listen to the game instead of watch it on PPV, which apparently had problems anyways.  Still, not the best game for our boys in blue.

Like every game this seasn, they looked rusty and uninterested in the first half, which lead to Charleston Southern staying in it a lot longer than they should have.  Even with a two touchdown lead going into the half, Cats fans were only cautiously optimistic as it looked like the defense forgot they weren’t playing touch football.  But about midway through the third quarter Kentucky woke up and really opened the game up.  They even got so far ahead we got to see a little Morgan Newton, which is always exciting.

Overall an end result you can’t really complain about.  Of course, if you want to, feel free to call Matt for his post game show.  I’ll hook you up with a full recap later – and a link to listen to Matt when he’s ready – but until then enjoy your Saturday, the Cats are back on track.
