What movie defines this year's Kentucky Wildcats?

ESPN's college basketball crew is having some preseason fun this week by picking out movies that represent each of the teams in their Way-Too-Early Top 25 rankings. While Duke steals what would usually be Kentucky's pick with "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back," Kentucky comes in at #3 with..."The Aviator"? Here's Eamonn Brennan's reasoning for choosing the 2004 Howard Hughes biopic for the 2015-2016 Cats:
"So, sure, John Calipari presumably doesn't share the devastating obsessive-compulsive disorder that director Martin Scorsese and titular star Leonardo DiCaprio so vividly depicted in the 2004 film. He probably doesn't sit there, unshaven, in a film room, listing his requirements for sanitized cookie delivery. But what makes 'The Aviator' so good is that just as many of its best scenes show Howard Hughes thinking big, pushing boundaries and innovating with abandon -- a man driven by some unseen force that even he barely understands. Sound like a coach you know? (Plus, if Hughes were still alive, he would totally take a private jet to a Drake concert. He'd fly it himself.)"
That's fine, I guess, as long as this season doesn't with Calipari watching the rest of the NCAA Tournament like this: Some other interesting picks:
  • #1: Duke Blue Devils: "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" (1980)
  • #2: Villanova Wildcats: "Gladiator" (2000)
  • #4: Kansas Jayhawks: "The Music Man" (1962)
  • #8. Wisconsin Badgers: "The Royal Tenenbaums" (2001)
  • #11. Indiana Hoosiers: "Revenge of the Nerds" (1984)
I think we can all agree on the last one. [ESPN]
