What the hell is a cylinder foul? (And the halftime score)

So we were supposed to pretend to know what a ‘cylinder foul’ was at South Carolina when Tre Mitchell took an elbow to the face, but when the same exact situation happens at Arkansas, it’s called a flagrant on the offensive player? Only for Kentucky. Always.
In a half where the officiating was hot garbage and the Wildcats refused to put the ball in the basket, we’ve somehow got a one-score game on our hands, the Razorbacks leading 26-24 at the break.
Kentucky is shooting an abysmal 29.0% from the field, 22.2% from three and 66.7% at the line. Fortunately, Arkansas is shooting just as poorly at 29.0% overall, 20.0% from deep and 66.7% at the line — about as close as you can get. The only difference is two additional free throws from the Hogs.

This is the first time in the John Calipari era that Kentucky has scored 25 or fewer in consecutive first halves, so at least the Cats have that going for them. About what you’d expect from the No. 1 scoring team in college basketball, right?
Antonio Reeves leads the way with 10 points, followed by DJ Wagner with six and Tre Mitchell and Ugonna Onyenso both with four apiece. No one else has scored a single point, combining for 0-8 from the field.
About as ugly as it gets, folks. That bodes well for a team down by a single bucket at the half.

20 minutes to get this figured the hell out.
