The NBA Summer League is in full effect, which means finding names of players you had long forgotten (Well Hello Jarvis Varnado!) and seeing what some scouts noticed in college stars (Kelly Oylnyk of Gonzaga looked great today). But it is also a time to follow our Cats, and today
Doron Lamb played very well for the Orlando Magic. He and Victor Oladipo shared the PG/SG duties (shifting back and forth) and I thought Lamb looked particularly good in that role. He finished with 13 points, 3-3 from three point land and played well in helping the Magic win. Doron should get playing time this season on what will be a bad Orlando team, and if the next few days go like this one, he will certainly solidify his spot.
