Make sure to check out their Facebook page and book them for your next big move. ------------------------ Good afternoon, KSR readers. I hear those of you in the Lexington area are supposed to get some snow tonight. Do you have milk, eggs and bread? No?? Stop reading and go to the store now! How will you make french toast tomorrow?! It's been another bizarrely slow day in Kentucky sports as we wait to see which UK team will show up against Georgia on Thursday night. Here are some brief notes: -- Tired of reading what the nation's bracket experts have to say about who will be in and out of this year's Tournament? How about Vegas? Outkick the Coverage's Todd Fuhrman has Vegas' "Power 68" poll, in which the Cats rank 38th. That's good enough for a #10 seed, squaring them off against #7 seeded North Carolina in Louisville's bracket. Now, doesn't that sound more fun than a #12 seed play-in game against Temple? (Or the NIT, a possibility which my big blue heart hasn't accepted quite yet.) Here's what Fuhrman had to say about the Cats:
Kentucky fans...the national media may think you're on the outside looking in however Vegas still shows you love as a 10 seed matching up against another blue blood program in North Carolina. Let's be honest, we should only be so lucky to get this as the marquee first round matchup between 2 storied programs with decorated head coaches.
-- I don't know how tight Julius Randle and Anthony Barber (a NC State commit) are, but Barber seems to think Randle is headed to Kentucky: -- Anthony Davis returned to the New Orleans lineup in a big way last night after missing two games for a shoulder injury, posting 17 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocked shots in the Hornets' loss to the Nets. In other news, I miss Anthony Davis. -- After photoboming two UCLA cheerleaders over the weekend, Jay Bilas is back at it, photobombing Bill Raftery and a UofL fan last night: jay-bilas-photobomb-2-e1362507667777 Or maybe he was just reacting to that disturbingly realistic Cardinal headpiece. Either way, I hope this trend continues. On today's show, Matt and Ryan talked about Matt and Drew's big trip to California to cover the BNP Parisbas Open, the apathy surrounding UK basketball and what to wear to a tennis tournament. Also, Dale calls in with a much-needed pep talk. Listen online at TalkRadio1080.com.
