Wow. What A Weekend.

Just a collection of random thoughts, moments, and memories from one of the best weekends in a long, long time... The weather was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better weather this weekend.  Good lookin', God. Smooth bourbon and fast horses. No, I did not stay in all weekend catching up on my Samantha Ryan DVD collection.  I'm talking about a little place called Keeneland.  I made it out to the land of Keene on Friday and Saturday and had a great time both days.  Especially Friday for College Day, which featured a Kentucky Sports Radio green screen for photo opportunities with various backdrops.  I chose to have my photo taken in front of Boone's Butcher Chop with Gina Head under my arm. Matthew Mitchell taught us all how to dougie. UK Hoops coach Matthew Mitchell really listened to C-Smoove's advice - "They gon' be on you when they see you hit that dougie right."  I'm told Amber Smith is the one who gave Coach Mitchell his dougie lessons.  He then took the dance to the bright lights of Big Blue Madness and pulled off what is easily one of the Top 3 moments in UK Hoops history.  The beat was bubble gum, so he had to chew it. Thomas Beisner, Certified Dance Advisor. Last Thursday, Beisner called for a twitter campaign to get Jorts to one up John Wall by breaking out The Carlton at Big Blue Madness.  And that's exactly what he did.  You are now free to e-mail us pictures/videos of you and your children doing The Carlton on The Great Wall, in front of The White House, at the Yum Center, etc. Big Tigger on the ones and twos. I'm sure most of you had never heard of Big Tigger before Friday, but the teenage rap star in me knew him from BET's Rap City and 106 & Park.  I met him back in the media room (where he was blasting rap instrumentals from his laptop) and I asked if I could spit a few bars in the Basement for Freestyle Friday.  I don't think he realized how serious I was. Jon Hood put on a dunkfest. So I'm told.  He doesn't allow us KSR guys to follow anything he does.  Can someone confirm this? Yes, UK Hoops, we can hear you now. So please quit yelling. No Locke, No Problem. Well, it was kind of a problem.  I certainly don't want to see him sit out again next week.  Luckily the passing game shined and the Cats got the huge win without their star running back.  Get well soon, D-Locke. Hartline for Hei5man. 32-42, 349 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs.  Now, for the last time, please shut up. Randall Got Loose. If you're on the South Carolina defense, you should know where Randall Cobb is at all times.  What you should not do is let him jog past you for a wide open touchdown on 4th and 7 with 1:20 left.  I don't understand how that happens.  Seriously.  How does Randall Cobb get that open?  That poor safety is going to have a rough week of practice back in Columbia.  And I almost feel sorry for him.  Almost. The throw. What's lost in all of the celebration is the incredible throw by Mike Hartline.  Sure, Cobb was more open than Rick and Joanne Pitino's marriage, but Hartline was hit by two defenders as he released the ball and dropped it right in Cobb's lap.  Yet some of you still think Morgan Newton should've been in the game. The dance. Or seizure.  Whatever it was.  Hartline's TD celebration was just a hot mess of emotion - screaming, kicking, and punching the air as he laid on his back after the play.  Can we get that in .gif form, please? Stephen Garcia supposedly hit a Kentucky fan. According to a handful of witnesses who were on the field.  I find it hard to believe Garcia would hit a fan.  He couldn't even hit his wide open receivers in the game. A deflated Spurrier walked off C.M. Newton field with his visor down. This was finally his year.  This was the year Spurrier got South Carolina to the top of the SEC.  The SEC East is way down, they just upset the #1 team in college football, and the 'Cocks were riding high coming into Commonwealth.  It's only fitting that his lifelong punching bag, the Kentucky Wildcats, s*** all over his parade. Joker Phillips is a Gamecock killer. Let the streak begin!  Joker Phillips has never lost to South Carolina.  Ever.  And he doesn't plan on it, either. Introducing The Underkanter. You didn't think I was going to leave this one off, did you?  Enes' intro to Big Blue Madness was by far my favorite moment of the weekend (other than the win, obviously.)  Matt and I had just been talking about how cool it would be for it to happen but neither of us thought UK would actually do it.  And then we heard it.  DONG...  DONG...
