Some late Friday news after a successful trip to the State Fair (buck, buck).
Xavier Rathan-Mayes has narrowed his list and it doesn't include Kentucky. The sharp three point shooter who played so well at the Peach Jam is of course Andrew Wiggins' teammate and a player that Kentucky had begun to inspect a bit more thoroughly. However, the Cats have yet to offer (possibly because of feeling better with a couple of other options) and Xavier seems ready to move on. While the list is said to be his "final 5", I feel confident to say that if Kentucky were to re-ignite the heat on Xavier, the Cats would be right back in contention. But for now, that isn't happening and Xavier will be looking elsewhere.
