Yay or Nay: Robots in the stands at a baseball game
In Japan, the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks play baseball in front of robots. Not fans — those are off limits — but robots.
The Hawks hosted the Rakuten Eagles for a Nippon Professional Baseball league game on Tuesday and there were dancing robots in the stands. These robots performed a dance that is traditionally done by all of the fans that pack Fukuoka SoftBank’s home stadium in normal circumstances, but in 2020, we have to get creative.
