Your long-awaited Jai Lucas update
“Any news on Jai Lucas???”
That question is one of the cornerstones of KSR. Along with Patrick Patterson, Jai Lucas was a KSR obsession back in 2007, and broke a few hearts when he decided to play for Florida instead of the Big Blue. Where is he now? Lucas was just hired as a “Special Assistant” by the Texas basketball program after graduating in 2011.
Lucas has been mentioned in 321 KSR posts, going back to December 6, 2005, when the third Star Wars prequel was in theaters, Madonna’s “Hung Up” was dominating the airwaves, and Kentucky football was coming off a 3-8 season under Rich Brooks.
In case you were wondering about Patrick Patterson, he’s doing pretty well for himself as a Sacramento King, and just got back from a trip to Ibiza.
