Yusuf Corker, Justin Rigg sign with Bengals, Steelers

Ready for some more good news? Two more former Cats have new homes in the NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals signed former Kentucky safety Yusuf Corker to their practice squad this morning. Earlier this week, Corker was waived by the New York Giants.
After going undrafted in April, Corker signed with the Giants and participated in training camp and all three preseason games. In five years at Kentucky, the former four-star recruit from McDonough (Ga.) Woodland played in 50 games, drawing 37 starting assignments. He finished his career as a Wildcat with 240 tackles and 17 interceptions/pass breakups.

Justin Rigg also announced a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rigg was waived by the Bengals on Tuesday.
Rigg signed with the Bengals after going undrafted in April. He was cut despite playing in all three preseason games and hauling in a touchdown in the Bengals’ preseason finale. At Kentucky, he set a school record for most games played at 63, including 35 starts and 16 in a row.
In case you missed it this morning, Lynn Bowden signed with the New England Patriots practice squad. He was released by the Miami Dolphins earlier this week. This week, fellow former Cats Jon Toth (Washington Commanders), Josh Ali (Atlanta Falcons), and Quandre Mosley (Seattle Seahawks) also signed with practice squads. That leaves Chris Westry and AJ Rose as free agents still looking for homes.
