Za’Darius Smith has a new impressive accolade to add to his long list of career accomplishments. Friday afternoon the six-year NFL veteran was named second team All-Pro.

As a two-time Pro Bowl selection, Big Z is no stranger to postseason honors. However, this isn’t just an all-star game selection. The Associated Press’ All-Pro Team is designated only for only the best players at their position in the NFL. Myles Garrett and T.J. Watt took first first team honors at edge defender.

The former Kentucky Wildcat had one of the best seasons of his career. In the 2020 regular season he had 52 tackles, 12 for loss, 23 QB hits, 4 forced fumbles and his 12 sacks were tied for the fourth-most in the league.

A team captain for Green Bay, Za’Darius Smith helped the Packers get the one-seed in the NFC, giving them a bye on wild card weekend. One of six Packers named All-Pro, the only other on the second team is a former Louisville Cardinal, cornerback Jaire Alexander.
