5-star WR Caleb Cunningham back at LSU for another visit

2025 Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County wide receiver Caleb Cunningham was back at LSU for another visit as the Tigers took on Texas A&M.

Cunningham visited LSU earlier this fall as the Tigers took on Arkansas. With Jayden Daniels dishing the ball out, the four-star prospect liked what he saw back in September.

“I liked what I saw from the receivers,” Cunningham told On3. “They played a heck of a game. I like how they threw the ball a lot. I had fun watching Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr., they had a big game.”

LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton is building a relationship with the 6-3, 185-pound prospect.

“It was good chatting it up with him. Me and him have a strong relationship,” Cunningham said after his visit for the Arkansas game. “Our conversations are what make us tight, we talk a good bit every week.”

Cunningham is the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 3 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Mississippi. 

On3 rates Cunningham higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2025 On300, he is the No. 13 overall prospect in the country and No. 3 wide receiver.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction MachineOle Miss is leading for Cunningham’s commitment at 29.2%. Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Miami and Florida State are the schools he reported are standing out to him.
