Elite 2026 wide receiver Jabari Mack commits to LSU

LSU has picked up another highly-touted receiver in its 2026 class this week, as Jabari Mack announced his commitment to Brian Kelly and the Tigers. Mack is the No. 8 receiver in the naation and No. 77 player in the 2026 class according to On3.
“A big part of it for LSU is that stay-home mentality,” he told Simmons in February. “I hear that a lot from the coaches. I am always hearing from coach (Cortez) Hankton, coach (Joe) Sloan and coach (Frank) Wilson (III). The staff is cool, and I like coach Hankton a lot because he keeps it real. He develops receivers too. LSU is easy for me to get to, and I like the environment up there. It feels crazy on game day.”
“My family would get the chance to see me play, and I’d be with guys I already have a brotherhood with.”
The commitment comes just days after Tristen Keys, the No. 1 receiver in the 2026 class, committed to LSU. Mack had a top four of LSU, Ohio State, Texas, and Texas A&M, making it a massive recruitment for Brian Kelly’s staff over the past year. There’s still work to do to close out the recruitment, but Mack feeling comfortable at LSU is a huge part of him making this decision,
“The staff and the people there will be very important in my decision,” Mack also told On3 in February. “All these schools have nice facilities, pretty things and stuff like that, so it comes down to the people because I want a school I can call home.”

The Tigers are now up to four wide receiver commits in the class with Jakai Anderson, Tristen Keys, Kenny Darby and now Mack. He also adds to the Louisiana stronghold LSU has in this class early on as eight of the ten commitments are from The Boot.
LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton has turned up the heat on several of the top wide receiver recruits on his board and the result is a wave of commitments to further strengthen the Tigers’ No. 1 class in the country.
“I want to play in an air raid offense, for a great staff and in a great environment. I want to be surrounded by the right people,” Keys told On3 during Under Armour All-America week at the end of December. “For me, great relationships with the coaches and the team are important. It is about finding that place I can call home.”
With Keys, Mack, and several other high-level talents, the Tigers are ready to pour into this class.
