The LSU football staff is winding down camp season, and June 16 brings the first “Friday Night Lights” event of the summer.

LSU will host prospects at all positions for camp from 4-7 p.m. CST on campus in Baton Rouge.

There will be a number of top recruits in attendance, and new offers could be handed out.

The Bengal Tiger staff will all be on hand for full coverage of the event. You can track the live updates in the “LIVE Thread” linked below, or head to The Ponderosa board.

No. 1 overall recruit in 2025 visits Baton Rouge

2025 five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood has arrived in Baton Rouge for an LSU unofficial visit, multiple sources confirmed with the Bengal Tiger staff.

Underwood is ranked by On3 as the No. 1 overall prospect in the country for the 2025 cycle, and he’s landed an impressive double-digit list of verbal scholarship offers ahead of his junior season.

This is Underwood’s second visit to the LSU campus over the past three months.

LSU signees return to campus

There are a number of LSU signees who will return to campus this weekend to visit with the staff and help recruit other targets into the program.

The group includes Louisiana four-star defensive back Ju’Juan Johnson and Texas four-star safety Maurice Williams.

The Tigers went on a run of new commitments this past week, reeling in a trio of 2024 commits with the additions of Louisiana four-star safety Joel Rogers, Louisiana three-star wide receiver Kylan Billiot and Tennessee four-star cornerback Ondre Evans.

LSU hosting six official visitors

There will also be six official visitors on campus, though due to NCAA rules, the group isn’t competing in Friday Night Lights.

The list of LSU official visitors include Georgia edge rusher CJ Jackson, Georgia cornerback Jalyn Crawford, Tennessee cornerback Ondre Evans, Georgia wide receiver Joseph Stone, Texas offensive lineman Ory Williams and JUCO tight end Connor Gilbreath.

Evans and Stone are both committed to LSU, while the other four official visitors are currently uncommitted.
