LSU-Missouri kickoff time, TV coverage announced

LSU will take on Missouri at 11 a.m. CT on Sat., Oct. 7 in Columbia, Mo., the SEC announced on Monday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
This week, No. 13 LSU heads to Oxford, Miss. to face the No. 20 Ole Miss Rebels at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN. Missouri is on the road at Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
This past weekend, the LSU Tigers overcame a 13-10 halftime deficit to beat Arkansas, 34-31 on a Damian Ramos 20-yard field goal in the final seconds. Missouri beat Memphis, 34-27, at home.
Head coach Brian Kelly said quarterback Jayden Daniels, who was nearly perfect against Mississippi State a week prior, overcame a tough start to settle in. His performance earned him a second straight SEC Offensive Player of the Week honor.

“He was out of rhythm. His drop was a little bit off. He was rushing into his throws,” Kelly said after the game. “We just kept reminding him about picking up his rhythm and being a lot quicker, which is how he played and has played. Once he was able to speed up his drop, he was in much better rhythm. It took off from there.
“His third-quarter drive was one of the best, if not the best. I can’t remember a better drive. They did everything in that first drive of the third quarter. They ran Cover 2 and tried to trap it. They ran man and overhang stunts. He was outstanding. His precision, his decision-making, protection checks, and delivering the ball was phenomenal. That’s what we expect to see from him. He played to a high standard in the final three quarters, and we needed it.”
LSU’s high-powered offense, which ranks in the Top 10 nationally in total offense, will get a shot to go head-to-head with a high-powered offense in Ole Miss this weekend. The Rebels rank in the Top 25 in total offense. If the Tigers win, they’ll be 3-0 in league play entering the matchup against Missouri.
