LSU earned the No. 10 national seed Sunday when the NCAA released its postseason tournament bracket.

The Tigers (41-14) will make their 19th consecutive tournament appearance and host a Baton Rouge Regional for the ninth consecutive time.

Nebraska, Connecticut and Southeastern Louisiana will visit for this year’s event, with LSU scheduled to open play at 4:30 p.m. with an in-state matchup against the Lions.

The Tigers hold an 87-58 all-time NCAA tournament record, including 65-31 in the regional round.

LSU swept its three regional games last season to advance to its first super regional since 2021, but dropped two of three games at Stanford.

The Tigers reached the supers in six consecutive tournaments from 2015 to 2021 — with no tournament held in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, the winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will face the winner of the Knoxville Regional hosted by No. 7 Tennessee and featuring North Carolina, Ohio State and Miami (Ohio).

The eight teams to advance through the next two weeks of competition will reach the College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla., scheduled this year from May 29 through June 5 or 6, depending on the length of the final best-of-three championship series.

Fourteen of the SEC’s 15 teams earned berths in this year’s NCAA Tournament, including the league securing nine of the 16 national seeds and regional hosting opportunities.

No. 1 Texas, No. 2 Florida, No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 4 Arkansas top the list with No. 6 Texas, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 8 South Carolina, No. 10 LSU and No. 15 Alabama also hosting regionals this weekend.

Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Kentucky and Auburn will travel to No. 12 Texas Tech, No. 13 Arizona, No. 14 Duke, No. 11 Clemson and No. 5 Florida State, respectively.
