2025 Roswell (Ga.) Fellowship Christian offensive tackle Josh Petty shined going both ways in his team’s 38-3 win over Mount Pisgah Christian on Friday. Check out the clips below of Petty on the offensive side of the ball.
LSU is among the numerous schools recruiting him. Competition is stiff with programs like Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Stanford, Oregon and numerous others after the 6-4, 265-pound prospect.
On3 ranks Petty as the nation’s No. 12 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive tackle nationally. He’s the No. 3 overall prospect in Georgia. Tennessee leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis offered Petty earlier this year and the program stands out to Petty. Player personnel assistant Bobby Barham delivered the news to him about the offer.

“He’s a Fellowship alumni, a really cool guy,” Petty said earlier this year. “He was excited to talk to me and when he got my film he immediately took it to coach Davis after that they offered.”
He knows what he’s looking for as he navigates the recruiting experience.
“On visits, I care about the degree. I will look a lot at the education,” Petty told On3. “Also, I am definitely looking at the coaching staffs and how they treat their player. I also want to play in front of a great crowd, so the game day is important to me too.”
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Petty ranks as the No. 15 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive tackle nationally.
