Draftly, NOCAP Sports and MGoDAO set to form ‘fully transparent' Michigan NIL collective

Draftly, a ‘technology provider and community builder’ for NIL collectives, is joining forces with NOCAP Sports and MGoDAO in an attempt to put fans at the forefront of Michigan NIL endeavors. 

Via draft.ly/mgodao: “MGoDAO: A Wolverine Web3 Community – We are a group of Michigan fans and alumni creating a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) that will establish a community interested in building a new future for Michigan Athletics. Our goal is to create a fully transparent NIL collective that is operated by Michigan fans and athletes while connecting them in innovative ways.”

MGoDAO – Michigan Timeline

June 2022: “We will partner with Michigan athletes to release a Season 1 NFT collection serving as a year-long membership to exclusive tailgates, events, giveaways, and athlete meetups. Season 1 will be a proof-of-concept to show that we can help compensate student athletes while building a sustainable community.”

Q4 2022: “We will release an NFT collection that will serve as the governance token for MGoDAO. Owning one of these NFTs will grant Michigan fans and athletes equal voting rights for proposals regarding the MGoDAO treasury and future operations.”

Beyond: “Release an annual Season Pass and build better ways to financially empower student athletes. We have several ideas to help student athletes monetize their NIL and we hope to build a network for the next generation of Michigan excellence.”
