Michigan commits were back on the field this weekend.

With the high school football season underway, future Wolverines are doing their best to impress on Friday nights. Here is a quick look at how they performed.

QB Brady Smigiel, Newberry Park (Calif.) High

The Skinny: Smigiel passed for 321 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 42 yards in Newberry Park’s 56-35 loss to Oxnard (Calif.) Pacifica.

RB Savion Hiter, Mineral (Va.) Louisa County

The Skinny: Hiter rushed for 328 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. He also caught one pass for eight yards in Louisa County’s 36-0 win over Spotsylvania (Va.) Courtland.
