Michigan football pledges kicked off playoff games, and most of the Wolverines’ 17 2022 commitments were in action over the weekend.

Here is a quick look at how those future Wolverines performed:

LB Aaron Alexander, Belleville (Mich.) High

The Skinny: Alexander and Belleville beat Ann Arbor Huron by a score of 14-10 in the opening round of the state playoffs.

QB Jayden Denegal, Apple Valley (Calif.) High

The Skinny: Apple Valley beat Burroughs (Calif.) by a score of 62-14 on Friday evening. Denegal was out due to injury.

DB Damani Dent, Terry Parker (Fla.) High

The Skinny: Dent and Terry Parker High lost 30-27 to ED White last Thursday. He had two catches for 60 yards and a touchdown, and added 25 punt return yards. He also had an interception in the loss.

Season Stats: Four interceptions, 50 tackles through first nine games

DT Mason Graham, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite High

The Skinny: Servite lost its second game in a row on Friday, this time in a 24-10 defeat to St. John Bosco. Game stats were not available at the time of this post.

Season Stats: 45 total tackles (21 solo), 12 sacks prior to last week

DT Kenneth Grant, Merrillville (Ind.) High

The Skinny: Grant’s Merrillville team stayed undefeated at 10-0 and won its opening-round playoff game over Crown Point (30-13) on Friday. He had four total tackles, including two for a loss.

Season Stats: 32 total tackles (12.5 for loss), 5.5 sacks, four caused fumbles (one recovered)

DE Kevonté Henry, Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger

The Skinny: Henry had a massive showing in a 60-6 win over Hawhtorne on Thursday night. He had four rushes for 129 yards and a touchdown while notching eight tackles (four for loss) on defense.

Season Stats: 34 total tackles, 6.5 sacks in 10 games

DB Will Johnson, Grosse Pointe (Mich.) South

The Skinny: Johnson and Grosse Pointe South won their opening playoff game vs. Lakeview by a score of 35-8. Stats were not made available after the game.

OL Connor Jones, Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge

The Skinny: Jones and Palmer Ridge beat Vista Ridge by a score of 41-0 on Friday night.

DB Kody Jones, Germantown (Tenn.) High

The Skinny: Jones made his mark on the offensive side of the ball in a 59-0 win over Cordova. He had a pair of rushing touchdowns on the evening and also made an impressive stop on defense.

TE Marlin Klein, Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee

The Skinny: Klein had a pair of catches for 34 yards and a touchdown in a 58-6 win over High Point Christian Academy.

Season Stats: 15 catches for 188 yards

OT Alessandro Lorenzetti, Windsor (Conn.) Loomis Chaffee

The Skinny: Lorenzetti and Loomis Chaffee lost their first league game of the season 20-13 vs. Choate Rosemary Hall on Saturday.

TE Colston Loveland, Gooding (Idaho) High

The Skinny: Loveland and his high school team were off this week.

Season Stats: 47 catches for 757 yards, 19 total touchdowns (13 receiving).

WR Tyler Morris, Plainfield (Ill.) East

The Skinny: Morris tore his ACL in the spring and has not played this season. Nazareth Academy grabbed a 54-6 win over Goode STEM Academy on Friday.

LB Micah Pollard, Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail

The Skinny: Pollard and Bartram Trail posted a 50-38 win over Sandalwood HS on Friday.

CB Myles Pollard, Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood
