Mississippi State lands its QB of the 2026 class with Brodie McWhorter's commitment

Jeff Lebby has landed his quarterback for the 2026 signing class.
Kingston, Ga., native Brodie McWhorter announced his decision on Thursday afternoon and picked Mississippi State over Indiana and Colorado. The Bulldogs have been in heavy pursuit of the Cass High School signal caller and Lebby would win the battle of Curt Cignetti and Deion Sanders.
The three-star is ranked as the No. 41 QB in the country by the On3 Industry rankings and the No. 71 player in the state of Georgia. Rivals.com is the highest on McWhorter naming him a four-star and the No. 15 QB nationally, No. 27 player in Georgia and the No. 184 player in the country.
McWhorter has been a repeat visitor to Starkville this spring with two trips already to town to see Lebby and his staff. He also has an official visit set for June.
