Mississippi State travels to Arkansas on Saturday in a matchup of two teams seeking their first SEC win of the season. The Bulldogs are coming off another heartbreaking loss to Texas in overtime while Arkansas also dropped a heartbreaker to Auburn last weekend.

The Bulldogs are 4-4 overall and 0-4 inside the SEC, having dropped four straight games. Meanwhile, Arkansas is 2-6 overall, also 0-4 in the league, and the Razorbacks are currently on a six-game losing streak.

Arkansas leads the all-time series 19-15-1 and the two teams have split the eight meetings in Fayetteville, Ark. Mississippi State has won four of its last five visits to Fayetteville, including a 7-3 decision in its last visit there in 2023.

Arkansas had no issues in last year’s matchup with State at Davis Wade Stadium. The Razorbacks jumped out to a 31-10 halftime advantage and ended up with an easy 58-25 victory.
