More game times set for Mississippi State football schedule
Mississippi State’s 2025 football schedule has been complete and now the game times are getting closer to being determined for Bulldog fans.
Last month, game times were released for three of the four non-conference games and the Battle for the Golden Egg. Wednesday brought the announcement of several SEC games around the conference and released some windows in which the schedule may fall.
State found out that its final non-conference game against Northern Illinois will take place at 3:15 p.m. on September 20 inside Davis Wade Stadium. The Battle of Bulldogs between State and Georgia will kickoff at 11 a.m.
Outside of the Egg Bowl and the Georgia matchup, the rest of the lineup has been put in windows with all of them set to take place either in the afternoon or the night. Games at Florida and Arkansas will be designated for the afternoon time slot with the road game at Texas A&M set for a night distinction. Home games against Tennessee, Texas and at Missouri all got a flex tag.

State is looking to take a step forward in year two under Jeff Lebby as the Bulldogs try to improve on a disappointing 2-10 season last year with zero conference wins. State went into the transfer portal and tried to flip the roster with talent that can help get them there.
