Starkville is buzzing with excitement as Mississippi State gets set to host College Football Playoff contender and top 5 foe Georgia on Saturday morning.
The Battle of the Bulldogs will feature two teams that have been on the opposite end of the spectrum in close games. Georgia (7-1, 5-1 SEC) has found ways to win several close ball games where State (5-4, 1-4 SEC) has lost two top 25 games in overtime and fell to Florida 23-21 driving to try and win the game.

However, State is hoping that last week was a new day for Jeff Lebby and his team. After trailing by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, State came back and won 38-35 over Arkansas to win the first SEC game of Lebby’s tenure.
