After a perfect 4-0 non-conference record, Mississippi State begins SEC play this weekend when the Bulldogs host No. 15 Tennessee. Saturday’s afternoon kickoff marks the end of State’s season-long, four-game homestand at Davis Wade Stadium.

Tennessee enters Saturday’s matchup with a 3-1 record and the Volunteers dropped their SEC opener to Georgia in overtime earlier this month.

Tennessee leads the all-time series 30-16-1 and the Vols have won eight of the last 10 meetings with the Bulldogs. The series is tied 5-5 in games held in Starkville while Tennessee won last year’s matchup, 33-14, in Knoxville, Tenn.
