Mississippi State faces its first SEC road test of the season on Saturday night when the Bulldogs travel to No. 6 Texas A&M. After a 4-0 start, the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season last weekend with a heartbreaking 41-34 overtime loss to No. 15 Tennessee.

Texas A&M has also gotten off to a 4-0 start and the Aggies have been impressive with back-to-back wins over Notre Dame and Auburn, which was their SEC opener last weekend.

The all-time series between the Bulldogs and Aggies is tied at 9-9 with the Aggies holding a slim 4-3 advantage in games held in College Station, Texas. Mississippi State dropped a 34-24 decision in last year’s meeting at Davis Wade Stadium.
