After just one season, Mississippi State women’s basketball freshman Jasmine Brown-Hagger is on the move.

A source confirmed that Brown-Hagger has notified the University of her plans to transfer and entered her name into the portal on Thursday. This comes just a couple of weeks after Brown-Hagger put up some career numbers in State’s Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament.

The Shorewood, Ill., native was a contributor off of the bench for the Bulldogs this season and had a bright future ahead of her. She averaged just 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds a game but showed promise in State’s first round WBIT game against Georgia Tech.

Brown-Hagger showed out for 17 points in that contest with five rebounds and four assists and she shot 7-of-10 from the field with 3-of-4 makes from 3-point range. Half of her 3-pointers made this year came in that game.

A four-star recruit out of high school and the No. 54 player in the country out of high school by ESPNW. She transferred to Example Academy for her senior year and scored 19.3 points a game with 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.2 steals per game.
